Thank you for your interest in our online presence. Protection of your personal data is very important to us. We would like to tell you about data protection in our company. Of course, we adhere to the legal clauses of the Data Protection Law (BDSG) of the Telemedia Law (TMG) and other data protection legal strictures.

The object of data protection

The object of data protection is personally-related data. These are given in detail as per Section 3, paragraph 1 of the BDSG in relation to personal or tangible relationships of an identified or identifiable natural person. This includes, for example information such as name, postal address, e-mail address or telephone number, if applicable, also use data such as your IP address.

The scope of our data gathering and storage

In general, it is not necessary for you to give personal information for the use of our Internet pages. So that we can actually deliver our services, we may need your personal data. This applies when we send brochures or ordered goods, as well as to answer individual questions.

If you contract with us to deliver a service or to send goods, we gather and store your personal data basically only to deliver the service or carry out the contract. It can therefore be necessary to give your personal data to companies which are used for the delivery of the service or for contract implementation. After complete contract settlement, your data are destroyed, and destroyed in accordance with tax law and commercial law, unless you have expressly agreed to continued use of these data beyond these periods.

Data collection through use of Google analytics

Our web site uses Google analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc. Google analytics uses so-called "Cookies." This has to do with text data which is stored on your computer, which makes analysis of your use of the web pages possible. For example, we gather information about the operating system, the browser, your IP address, websites you've looked at before (referrer URL's) and the data and time of your visit to our web pages. The information produced by this text data about the use of our web pages is transmitted to a Google server in the US, and stored there. Google will use this information to assess your use of our web pages, in order to produce reports about web pages activities for web pages operators’ altogether, and to deliver further services related to web pages use and Internet use. As far as this is legally prescribed, or to the degree that third parties process these data under contract to Google, Google will give this information to these third parties. In regards to the discussion about the use of analytical tools with complete IP addresses, we would like to refer to the fact that this web pages uses Google analytics with the extension "_anonymizelp()", and therefore the IP addresses are only used in truncated fashion, in order to exclude direct personal reference.

Google uses DoubleClick DART cookies

Users can deactivate the use of DART cookies, by calling up the data protection provisions of the commercial network and content commercial network at Google

With this, no direct personal data of the user is stored; rather, only the Internet protocol address is stored. This information serves to recognize you upon your next visit to our website automatically, and to make navigation easier. Gathering and storing use data

In order to optimize our web pages, we gather and store data, for example the date and time of the page call-up, the page from which you came to our page and similar, unless you do not object to this data gathering and storage. This takes place in an anonymized fashion, without the user being able to identify you personally. If needed, user profiles are created using a pseudonym. There is also no connection here between the natural person standing behind the pseudonym with the gathered use data to gather and store user data from the cookies we use. This does not have to do with text data which is stored on your computer, and to store statistical information such as operating system, your Internet user program (browser), IP address, the web page called up before (referrer URL) and the time. We exclusively gathered these data for statistical reasons in order to optimize our Internet presence and to structure our Internet offerings in a more attractive way. Gathering and storing is done exclusively in anonymized or pseudo-anonymized form, and cannot be traced back to you as a natural person.

Assigned data use

We adhere to the principles of assigned data use and gather, process and store your personal data only for the purpose for which you communicated with us. Forwarding of your personal data to third parties is not done without your express permission, as long as it is not necessary to deliver services or settle contracts. Also, the communication to government institutions and authorities with the right to information is only done in the framework of legal information obligations, or if a court decision has made giving such data mandatory.

We also take internal corporate information protection seriously. Our employees and those service firms contracted to us are obligated by us to confidentiality, and to adhere to data protection provisions.

Information rights and right of withdrawal

You can receive at any time without having to give a reason, information about the data we have about you. You can at any time erase the data we have gathered about you, justify or have it erased, and object to the anonymized or pseudo-anonymized data gathering and storage for optimization purposes on our website.
